Take your Reformer work to new heights with the Balanced Body Allegro Standing Platform Extender. This innovative accessory creates more space for your feet and hands to allow for a wider array of exercises as you progress in your practice!

The Allegro Standing Platform Extender is easy-to-install (and remove) on your Allegro Reformer. If your Allegro Reformer is serial # 41501 and above, the Standing Platform Extender does not require removing your existing platform. An included foam pad makes the Standing Platform Extender the same height as your carriage, so your hands and feet are secure and stable during exercise.

The Allegro Standing Platform Extender is designed to fit the Allegro Reformer (serial# 41501 and above), and it is included with the purchase of a Allegro Stretch Reformer. If you have an Allegro Reformer with a serial number between 36396 and 41501, and would like an Allegro® Standing Platform Extender, please call us at 916-388-2838 or email us. There is no extended platform option for A1b Reformers with serial # below 36396.

What are the functional benefits of Standing Platform Extenders?

Standing Platform Extenders provide a large stable surface for varied foot, leg, hand, arm, glute and torso support. Standing Platform Extenders are “gap fillers”, creating a larger carriage surface for some mat exercises. They can also reduce the need for complete mat conversion of the Reformer

Does the Standing Platform Extender have limitations?

When in use, the Standing Platform Extender may add an additional step when making any type of spring/resistance adjustment. In addition, Standing Platform Extenders are not available for Metro IQ and Fletcher Reformers. Standing Platform must be removed to put in the Mat Conversion.

Is the Standing Platform Extender padded?

The Standing Platform Extender comes with a pad that covers the entire surface area for additional comfort.
